Global Reimagining Our Futures Together: A New Social Contract for Education 2021 International Commission on the Futures of Education UNESCO Our humanity and planet Earth are under threat. The pandemic has only served to prove our fragility and our interconnectedness. Now urgent action, taken together, is needed to change course and reimagine our futures. This report by the International Commission on the Futures of Education acknowledges the power of education to bring about profound change. We face a dual challenge of making good on the unfulfilled promise to ensure the right to quality education for every child, youth and adult and fully realizing the transformational potential of education as a route for sustainable collective futures. To do this, we need a new social contract for education that can repair injustices while transforming the future.This new social contract must be grounded in human rights and based on principles of non-discrimination, social justice, respect for life, human dignity and cultural diversity. It must encompass an ethic of care, reciprocity, and solidarity. It must strengthen education as a public endeavour and a common good.This report, two years in the making and informed by a global consultation process engaging around one million people, invites governments, institutions, organizations and citizens around the world to forge a new social contract for education that will help us build peaceful, just, and sustainable futures for all.The visions, principles, and proposals presented here are merely a starting point. Translating and contextualizing them is a collective effort. Many bright spots already exist. This report attempts to capture and build on them. It is neither a manual nor a blueprint but the opening up of a vital conversation. Arab States Global Managing the State Under the Globalization Analytical Study (Journal of Al Farahidi's Arts; Vol.15, Issue 52-3) 2023 Ahmed Saleh Ahmed Dawood Tikrit University This research dealt with how to manage the state in light of the major global changes, which are imposing its dominance on states and societies, and tampering with their values and cultures. The research problem can be summed up in two things: the first: the interference of international organizations and companies in the policies of countries, and the second: the resulting effects if countries tried to object to the policy of these organizations or drift in their current. Our research aims to: Study and analyze the effects of globalization on countries that have drifted in the current of globalization, and highlight the importance and role of state independence in exercising its authority and making its decisions. Using the descriptive analytical method, the description was to reveal everything related to globalization as a phenomenon that has an important role in changing many countries of their economic policies, trade systems and social affairs. As for the analysis, it was through the explanation and interpretation of the effects of globalization on the sovereignty of the state and how to manage it. This research will be organized into an introduction and a topic that deals with the elements of the research, problem, importance, goal, approach and definition of concepts. Then comes the second topic deals with globalization and the nation-state, and management of the state in light of globalization. As for the third topic, it dealt with developing countries and the challenges of globalization, and managing the Iraqi state in light of globalization, and then globalization and the Keynesian state. In the end of the research, resuls will be presented and recommendations will be made. The research sample consisted of (98) kindergarten teachers, chosen randomly from the Damietta Educational Administration in Damietta Governorate, and the researcher relied on the descriptive approach. To apply the research goals, a questionnaire was used from the researcher's preparation and application to the research sample, The results of the research found a set of factors that prevent kindergartens from playing their role in developing social responsibility of the kindergarten child, including: The small reward of the teacher for the child when he cooperates with his colleagues, a lack of training the teacher for the child to wear his clothes himself, the lack of material resources provided by the kindergarten to develop activities that enhance the child’s responsibility - the kindergarten’s failure to use its financial possbilities to serve the local community. The United Nations has committed to strengthening tolerance by promoting mutual understanding between cultures and peoples.The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO, became aware of the issue of the culture of tolerance and issued, on November 16, 1995, a declaration containing the basic principles of tolerance as an educational, psychological and social culture. Since the twenty-eighth session of the UNESCO General Conference, this day has become an international day for tolerance. Arab States Role of Kindergarten in Solidifying Peaceful Coexistence for Children from the Perspectives of Teachers (Al-Ameed Journal; Vol.12, No.47) 2023 Insaf Kamal Mansour Department of Cultural and Intellectual Affairs in the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine The current research aims to identify the role of kindergartens in promoting the culture of peaceful coexistence among kindergarten children from the point of view of kindergarten teachers. The research adopted the descriptive methodology, and the research community consists of (273) teachers in government kindergartens in the Directorate General of Education Baghdad Karkh II for the academic year (2019-2020), while the research was appointed by (160) teachers, To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher built a questionnaire comprising (47) paragraphs spread over three areas (interactive experience unit curriculum, educational activities, and teacher) and five alternatives to the answer are (very large, large, medium, low, very low) and weights (1, 2,3,4,5) respectively, the research found that kindergartens play a major role in promoting the culture of peaceful coexistence of kindergarten children from the point of view of kindergarten teachers, related to the areas of the role of the teacher, the role of educational activities and the role of the interactive experience unit curriculum, If each of the areas (the role of the teacher and educational activities) was highly appreciated with a weakness in the vocabulary of the interactive experience unit curriculum made its role (average) Arab States Education and Its Role in Activating Tolerance Education to Achieve Peaceful Coexistence (Hammurabi Journal for Studies; Vol.1, No.46) 2023 Marwan Kadhim Wajar Al-Saedl Hammurabi Centre for Research and Strategic Studies Achieving and spreading a culture of tolerance has become a necessity for societies to prevail the values of peace, benevolence, coexistence with others, and respect for intellectual and cultural diversity within the same society.
