GCED Youth Network aims to empower youth around the World by fostering their understanding of Global Citizenship Education (GCED) and Sustainable Development Goals.

Inspired by the concept of a Global Citizen, NUSSU GRU will be holding the second iteration of our 7-day conference with the theme of Global Progression.By bringing together students from all over the world and various stakeholders - non-governmental organisations (NGOs), social entrepreneurs, specialists, and academic speakers - to discuss globally relevant socio-economic issues, we hope to bring about greater understanding, awareness, and to inspire change towards progress for all.

Voices of Youth (VOY) was founded in 1995 as UNICEF’s online place for young people to learn more about issues affecting their world. Today, VOY is a vibrant community of youth bloggers from all over the world, offering inspiring, original insight and opinion on a variety of topics. Everyone is welcome to write, film, comment and engage in discussions.

Green teacher is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping educators, both inside and outside of schools, promote environmental awareness among young people aged 6-19.Our quarterly Green Teacher magazine offers perspectives on the role of education in creating a sustainable future, practical articles and ready to use activities for various age levels, and reviews of dozens of new educational resources.

Since the very beginning, ACEI has been an international organization driven by the belief that education is essential to human development. More than a century later, this core belief remains the same as we look at human development on a global scale and see how education has the power to change lives. Today, our commitment to advancing education translates to a commitment to education as a tool for global development and sustainable futures for all. ACEI works for the education of all children, but has a special interest in ensuring that our energies are focused on meeting the education needs of the most fragile and vulnerable children.

GCED Online Campus is an e-learning platform on Global Citizenship Education by APCEIU. The platform provides GCED online courses for educators, special lecture series, case videos of GCED initiatives, and GCED-related teaching & learning materials. All courses and contents are free and accessible to every educator who is interested in GCED.

Signposts is a collection of tried and tested Global Citizenship teaching resources, which are particularly relevant to the Scottish Curriculum. New and topical resources are added to the collection, or highlighted, on a regular basis.Signposts is an intrinsic part of the work carried out by all IDEAS members: to make Global Citizenship education accessible to Scottish teachers and schools. We want Signposts to be as relevant, current and supportive as possible to those working in Scottish education.

Stride aims to be a source of inspiration and support for teachers delivering education for Global Citizenship in Scotland. Our vision is of an education which develops the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that learners need to participate in a globalised society and to secure a more just and sustainable world for all. We are also part of the IDEAS network – a group of large and small NGOs working in international development, global poverty, sustainable development, social justice and citizenship.

The International Development Education Association Scotland (IDEAS) is a network of organisations and individuals across Scotland that actively support and promote Development Education and Education for Global Citizenship.

In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 goals for a better world by 2030. These goals have the power to end poverty, fight inequality and stop climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone.Everyone can contribute to making sure the Global Goals are met.
